KUALA LUMPUR – Affin Bank Berhad ("AFFINBANK" or "the Bank") emerged as the JomPAY Top Acquirer Bank 2017 at the Malaysian E-Payment Excellence Awards (MEAA) 2018, which was held at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, recently.

AFFINBANK Group Chief Executive Officer En Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil said, "his proves our continuous support in driving e-payment with our valued customers. We are committed to strive harder to achieve more successes in the years to come."

En. Kamarul Ariffin received the award from the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhammad Bin Ibrahim and Mr. Peter Schiesser, Group Chief Executive Officer, Payment Network Malaysia Sdn. Bhd (Paynet).

Last year, AFFINBANK had also won the JomPAY National Biller Acquisition (Mid-sized Acquirers). MEAA is an annual event by Paynet that recognizes the outstanding achievements of Banks, Businesses and Government Agencies that have contributed significantly towards the excellence, innovation and growth in e-Payments.
