The Board of Directors of AFFIN, wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek shareholders' approval for the renewal of shareholders' mandate and additional mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature which are necessary for the day-to-day operations of AFFIN and/or its subsidiaries in line with Paragraph 10.09 Chapter 10 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad at its forthcoming Annual General Meeting ("AGM") to be held on 18 April 2011. A Circular to Shareholders setting out further details of the Proposed Shareholders' Mandate will be despatched together with the Company's Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2010 to the shareholders in due course. This announcement is dated 24 March 2011. |
