We refer to the announcements dated 15 April 2013, 4 September 2013 and 10 January 2014 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition.
On behalf of the Board of AFFIN, AFFIN Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that AFFIN has requested Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for a suspension of trading of the securities of AFFIN from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on 22 January 2014 pending the release of a material announcement.
The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(b) of Practice Note No. 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
