The Board of  Directors of  AFFIN wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek shareholders' approval for the:

(i)  proposed renewal of shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature which are necessary for the day-to-day  operations of  AFFIN and/or its subsidiaries in line with Paragraph 10.09 Chapter 10 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad; and

(ii) proposed adoption of new articles of association of the Company;

at its forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on 22 April 2013.

A Circular to Shareholders setting out further details of the Proposed Shareholders' Mandate and Proposed Adoption will be despatched to the shareholders in due course.
