KUALA LUMPUR – AFFINBANK Group (“AFFINBANK” or “the Bank”) recently distributed free plants to staff and customers at a few branches around Klang Valley, as part of its initiative to commemorate Earth Day on 22 April 2017.

A total of 400 plants were distributed to customers and staff at the following branches, as follows;

• AFFINBANK Central Branch, Kuala Lumpur
• AFFINBANK Ampang Jaya Branch, Kuala Lumpur
• AFFINBANK Shah Alam Branch, Selangor
• AFFINBANK The Curve Branch, Selangor 

The plants were distributed by En. Nazlee Khalifah, Chief Executive Officer, AFFIN ISLAMIC as well as some other members of senior management and staff of the Bank. 

“This is a simple gesture to thank our customers, at the same time help green the environment, be it at the office or at home,” said En. Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil, Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, AFFINBANK.

“This activity is one of our many corporate social responsibilities that is also in line with our AFFINITY Transformation Programme that the Bank is currently undergoing, in which we aimed to increase the awareness as well as to encourage more initiatives to improve the lives of the community and the environment,” he added.
