Affinbank and Affin Islamic Launch Visa Debit Card And Affin Rewards

KUALA LUMPUR – Affin Bank Berhad (“AFFINBANK” or “the Bank”) and Affin Islamic Bank Berhad (“AFFIN ISLAMIC” or “the Bank”) today launched the “AFFINBANK and AFFIN ISLAMIC Visa Debit Card, a multifunctional card that combined the features and benefits of an ATM and a Debit card.
 
The AFFINBANK and AFFIN ISLAMIC Visa Debit Card was officially launched by AFFINBANK’s Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, En. Kamarul Ariffin Bin Mohd Jamil at Jakel Mall, Kuala Lumpur. Also present at the launch was YBhg. Datuk Haji Mohamed Faroz Mohamed Jakel, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Jakel Group of Companies.
 
This new multifunctional card enables customers to enjoy the convenience of using a single card for cash withdrawals and cashless transactions at all retailers which accept Visa both locally and overseas.
 
The Bank also introduced its first point-based loyalty programme, AFFIN Rewards in which customers can earn one (1) point for every RM1 spent with their AFFINBANK Credit Card and three (3) points for every RM10 purchased with their AFFINBANK or AFFIN ISLAMIC Debit Card. Through the points collected, customers can choose to redeem various items such as shopping vouchers, electrical appliances etc via its website http://rewards.affinbank.com.my
 
“We believe that this introduction is great news for many Malaysians as these benefits provide some returns which will be helpful in view of the current economic situation. These initiatives are also in line with our AFFINITY Transformation Programme in which the Bank is currently undergoing, whereby we aim to offer more innovative products and services in order to enhance customer experience,” En. Kamarul Ariffin Bin Mohd Jamil.
 
In conjunction with the launch which was held at Jakel Mall, customers can collect points up to 20 times by spending with their cards at selected Jakel outlets. Besides that, attractive gifts and vouchers were also up for grabs during the promotional period from 11 June till 31 August 2017.
