KUALA LUMPUR – AFFINBANK Group (AFFINBANK or the Bank) in collaborations with the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC), signed the Corruption-Free Pledge (known as Ikrar Bebas Rasuah or IBR in short) at its head office, Menara AFFIN, today.

IBR is an initiative introduced by MACC that emphasizes on the pledge and oath voluntarily taken by an organization’s leadership and members in an individual capacity to hold each of them accountable and responsible for carrying out their duties and to hinder them from engaging in any corruption misconduct throughout their tenure.

“We at AFFINBANK welcome this IBR initiative wholeheartedly as it is very much in line with our strategic transformation programme, AFFINITY of which one of its objectives include instilling integrity across all levels of staff within the Bank in daily work practices,” said En. Kamarul Ariffin Bin Mohd Jamil, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, AFFINBANK. 

At the event, En. Kamarul led all AFFINBANK’s staff in the IBR signing and pledging ceremony witnessed by MACC’s Deputy Chief Commissioners (Prevention), Dato’ Shamshun Baharin Bin Mohd Jamil.
