Kuala Lumpur, 30 January 2018 – AFFIN Holdings Berhad (“AFFIN Holdings”) had successfully completed the distribution of all its shares in AFFIN Bank Berhad (“AFFIN Bank”) to its shareholders today.

AFFIN Bank is now the bank holding company of AFFIN Islamic Bank Berhad, AFFIN Hwang Investment Bank Berhad, AFFIN Moneybrokers Sdn Bhd and AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad, whereas AXA AFFIN General Insurance Berhad is an associate company of AFFIN Bank.  AFFIN Holdings is now a dormant company and will be wound up in due course.

AFFIN Bank will be listed on Bursa Malaysia on 2 February 2018, in place of AFFIN Holdings.  Moving forward, AFFIN Bank will spearhead the future growth of the AFFIN Bank Group.
