Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 27 January 2017 wherein AFFIN had announced that it had submitted an application to Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) to seek BNM’s approval for an extension of time of a further 6 months for AFFIN to conclude negotiations with Felda Marketing Services Sdn Bhd on the Proposal. On behalf of the Board of Directors of AFFIN, Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that BNM had informed that it has no objection for an extension of 6 months up to 5 August 2017 for AFFIN to complete its negotiations with Felda Marketing Services Sdn Bhd and AXA Asia in relation to the Proposal. This announcement is dated 23 February 2017. |
