We refer to the earlier announcements dated 4 August 2017, 18 September 2017, 27 November 2017, 20 December 2017 and 21 December 2017 in relation to the above.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of AFFIN (“Board”), AFFIN Hwang Investment Bank Berhad (“AFFIN Hwang IB”) wishes to announce that AFFIN Bank Berhad (a wholly-owned subsidiary of AFFIN) (“AFFIN Bank”) had on 28 December 2017 satisfied the purchase consideration of RM180.54 million in cash for the Acquisition.
Following the above, the Acquisition is deemed completed as at the date of this announcement. Pursuant thereto, AFFIN Bank holds a total of 59,460,710 Shares in AXA AFFIN GI which represents 49.95% equity interest therein.
