Reference is made to the Company’s earlier announcements on the Proposal. On behalf of the Board of Directors of AFFIN, Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that AFFIN had on 27 January 2017 submitted an application to Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) to seek BNM’s approval for an extension of time of a further six months for AFFIN to conclude negotiations with Felda Marketing Services Sdn Bhd on the Proposal. We will make further announcements as and when there are material developments pertaining to the Proposal. This announcement is dated 27 January 2017. |
