Reference is made to the announcements dated 16 February 2017, 20 February 2017, 14 July 2017, 21 July 2017, 28 August 2017, 21 September 2017, 2 October 2017, 16 October 2017 and 14 November 2017 in relation to the above (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, all the abbreviations and definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as the words and expressions used in the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of AHB, AFFIN Hwang Investment Bank Berhad (“AFFIN Hwang IB”) wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had in its letter dated 17 November 2017 informed the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, AFFIN Bank Berhad (“ABB”) that Bursa Securities has resolved to approve the following:

1. withdrawal of AHB and the ordinary shares of AHB from the Official List of Bursa Securities and the admission of ABB and the entire enlarged issued share capital of ABB comprising up to 1,942,948,547 ordinary shares to the Official List of Bursa Securities in place of AHB; and
2. the listing of and quotation for the entire enlarged issued share capital of ABB comprising up to 1,942,948,547 ordinary shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
