Members' Voluntary Winding-up of AFFIN-ACF Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 347428-X)

AFFIN Holdings Berhad (“AHB”) wishes to announce that AFFIN-ACF Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (“AFFIN-ACF Holdings”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AHB, had on 30 August 2017 commenced Members’ Voluntary Winding-up pursuant to Section 439(2)(a) of the Companies Act 2016.

Pursuant thereto, Datuk Tan Leh Kiah of AD-Consult Sdn. Bhd., Suite 13.03, 13th Floor, Menara Tan & Tan, 207 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, has been appointed as Liquidator.

AFFIN-ACF Holdings was incorporated on 20 June 1995. AFFIN-ACF Holdings was formerly known as AFFIN-ACF Holdings Berhad and the Company’s principal activity was that of an investment holding company. Its paid up share capital stood at RM338,382,196.00 as at 30 August 2017.

The Members’ Voluntary Winding-up of AFFIN-ACF Holdings is to rationalise and streamline the AHB Group structure.

Effects of the Winding-up

The winding-up of AFFIN-ACF Holdings will not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of the AHB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2017.
