Further to the earlier announcement dated 1 July 2024, the Board of Directors of ABB wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Affin Islamic Bank Berhad (“AiBB”) had on 12 July 2024 successfully established the ICP Programme. AiBB had on 1 July 2024 lodged with Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) all required information and relevant documents relating to the ICP Programme pursuant to the SC’s Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products under the Lodge and Launch Framework. The ICP Programme will give AiBB an additional option to raise funds in the local bond market from time to time, to fund general banking working capital requirements and business purposes of AiBB, which shall be Shariah-compliant. The ICP Programme has been assigned a short-term rating of P1 by RAM Rating Services Berhad. Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad is the Principal Adviser, Lead Arranger, Lead Manager and Facility Agent for the ICP Programme.
