In response to the article published in The Edge Newspaper (the week of April 3 – April 9, 2023), regarding Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT)'s holdings in Affin Bank Berhad (ABB) shares, ABB would like to clarify that the Company has contacted LTAT to inquire about their position. The Company has been made to understand that the parties have been in discussions on the matter. Any transaction that may result from the discussions will be done in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.

LTAT is obligated to inform ABB of any changes to their shareholding in compliance with requirements or significant divestment of major shareholders and any party that acquires 5% or more interest in ABB shares must also notify ABB. The Company will promptly release a new announcement once further information becomes available.
