We refer to the announcements dated 22 June 2021, 30 June 2021, 9 May 2022, 18 May 2022, 19 May 2022, 22 August 2022, 30 August 2022, 9 December 2022, 3 March 2023 and 22 March 2023.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Affin, Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that pursuant to the order granted by the High Court of Malaya on 22 March 2023, the Merger has been completed on 1 April 2023.
Subsequent to the Merger:
(a) Affin holds 30%; and (b) Generali Asia N.V (ultimately owned by Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A) holds 70%,
of the shares in AAGI (now known as Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad).
