We refer to the announcements dated 26 February 2021, 2 March 2021, 8 March 2021 and 9 March 2021 in relation to the 3rd DRP.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of ABB, Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that ABB will be issuing 44,271,315 new ABB Shares pursuant to the 3rd DRP (“DRP Shares”), based on the valid dividend reinvestment forms (“DRF”) received by Tricor Investor & Issuing House Services Sdn Bhd, the share registrar of ABB for the 3rd DRP, as at 5.00 p.m. on 8 April 2021, being the last time and date to submit the DRF.

The DRP Shares to be issued represent approximately 91.85% of the total number of 48,197,493 new ABB Shares that would have been issued pursuant to the 3rd DRP had all the entitled shareholders of ABB elected to reinvest all their respective interim dividend entitlement into new ABB Shares.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the DRP Shares are expected to be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 20 April 2021.
