Further to the announcement dated 26 November 2007, AFFIN Holdings Berhad ("AHB") wishes to announce that AFFIN Securities Sdn Bhd ("AFFIN Securities"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AFFIN Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd which is in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AHB, which was placed under Member's Voluntary Wounding-up on 26 November 2007 and held its final meeting on 30 September 2011, was dissolved on 7 January 2012 i.e. after the expiration of three months from the date of lodgement of the return with the Company Commission of Malaysia.

The dissolution of AFFIN Securities did not have a material effect on the earnings or net assets of the AHB for the financial year ending 31 December 2011. None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of AHB or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said resolution.
